First off, there's no free WiFi. Selecting the guest network directs you to a webpage that lets you choose between slow internet for $9.99 and "fast" internet for $19.99. PER DAY! This may be an historic hotel, but it's time to get out of the 90's. While checking out, one customer complained about this and the clerk assured him that they don't charge for internet. That is a flat-out lie.
Then, they charged $29 per day for parking, which is beyond exorbitant. I always avoid the mini-bar, but even so almost all hotels offer complimentary water bottles outside the mini-bar. Warwick charges $9 for their bottled water that's not in the mini-bar. Remember, this is in Dallas, where temperatures regularly top 100 degrees. That's just cruel. I was afraid to turn on the TV because I thought they'd find some way to charge for that.
The service was awful. We complained about a flickering light in the bathroom and they did nothing about it. Had to pull the light bulb out to keep from getting annoyed - darkness is better than flickering. The toilet only worked every other flush.
But the location was awesome. Walking distance from Eatzi's and great restaurants.More
