Please note that the name has changed from Café Greek to Taza Fresh Mediterranean Food. It took us a few minutes to find it because of that. My husband, ten-year-old and one-year-old all enjoyed it. Spent about $45 for the route of us to eat. The food was wonderful and the portions very generous. The staff was extraordinarily friendly. Would definitely eat here again! Great job all around!

If you need a quick Greek fix this will work, but nothing spectacular here. Basically buffet, food is typical buffet dry.

Six o'clock and we are the only diners. Ordered and 20 minutes until salad arrived. Greek"lasanga arrived on a cold plate and the sauce could have passed for canned tomato soup. The lamb entree' might have been left over from the noon buffet--dry and hard crust. Service fair but had to ask waitress to talk on her cell phone as she was talking loud enough to drown out the music. All in all one of the worst dining experiences in Big D.

Opa!
Café Grek is an unassuming little café caught between a Chili, an Indian Restaurant, a New York Deli, and others, yet it was brimming with customers when we entered at lunch time. We quickly understood why: just the aroma lets you know that you are going to deal with good honest food.
I opted for the buffet to get a chance to taste a variety of appetizing authentic greek dishes, and I was not disappointed, every bite was just right. I was tempted to say: “just like mother used to make,” except that my mother was French not Greek, but it’s definitely what my taste buds were bringing to mind.
All the greens were fresh and crisp, the lovely beets obviously cooked from scratch, the hummus was creamy. The spanakopita, moussaka, chicken, gyro meat, grilled vegetables, were delicious. The pitas were fresk baked. (I may be forgetting a couple of other dishes.) All this for--hold on tight—under ten dollars!
Of course you can also order from the full menu at a very reasonable price as well, they got it all. Efharisto para poli!
