Very interesting place to visit in Dallas. The exhibit were created by fiber artists, pretty neat! The girls enjoyed taking pictures while the guys went in and went right to the exit and enjoyed their beer
I went here for a few photos and a day time outing. Will go back. The person at the front was informative. Best time to go is on a Sunday. Stop and enjoy a drink!
The Sweet Tooth Hotel is a whimsical place that allows you the opportunity to capture the perfect picture. Everything in this museum is photo worthy, from the moment you walk in the door to the bathrooms. Don’t forget to stop inside both of them to check out the decor. It felt as if I was in a Music Video so be sure to take your time in certain rooms and even return to them to make sure you are capturing that perfect keepsake creation. The employees here were helpful as ever making sure we had the perfect lighting for our pictures and answering any and every question we had. Thanks To Legend, Austin, and Cole for all of their help. Not to mention they will also validate your parking pass, so don’t forget to ask about that. This wasn’t your typical Date Night, and I loved it. I’ve been telling all my friends about it.
Immersive art installations are in high demand right now, and Sweet Tooth Hotel is making sure Dallas keeps up with the hype. This fun attraction features work by various artists who transform an entire room to pull you into their imaginative take on the overarching theme. The current theme, "1955," transports visitors in a rainbow rocketship to the vivid and extraterrestrial past. The exhibit is great for photo shoots of all levels and especially exciting for those interested in sprucing up their Instagram. All coolness aside, this place is pretty awesome. The employees are sweet; the visuals are sweet, the gift shop (you guessed it) sweet. I am excited to see what comes next as they close for expansion December 31. They could do a better job of managing the flow of visitors. It was difficult at times to get the desired shot with other visitors in the way. Heads up, this place is purely for picture-taking, installation admiring and enjoying the gift shop. Advice: prep your outfit, though they do have cool props for free Also, weekdays are less busy.
Thanks for visiting 1955! We're excited to announce that we are expanding our current space to more than three times the size and it will open in May. It's titled Discotech and will be a fusion of music and technology. We'll be utilizing projection mapping, lights and silent disco headphones. Can't wait to share what we have planned and tickets are on sale now!
