Sometimes you can get discount tickets or the day free if you are with certain organizations- keep an eye out for it. Also, Nasher is next door and you can sometimes get into one free if you get tickets for the other. Lots of things to do and ride in on the DART rail from the metroplex rail areas.

We would go more often if they had more to offer. The facilities and staff are first-rate. Worth a visit.

I was on my 1st visit to Dallas for a whirlwind convention. Having little free time, I researched how best to spend my time. I went to the DMA initially for the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit (bautifully done & well worth the admission. I lingered to explore further & enjoyed just wandering. I wound down @ the Museum Cafe w. a glass of wine & talked w. other visitors about the Gaultier exhibit. I noticed that there is a Thursday nite jazz event & lots for children as well. A wonderful place to spend an afternoon.

Although I got tired of walking, this museum has a nice selection of international art and places to sit and rest throughout. My only disappointment was the sculpture garden...not much there.

It a very nice museum and the staff is always around to give you answers. It's a nice building and I enjoy going there often to see the new displays.
