Fratelli Wines is located in a beautiful place, surrounded by farms and away from the noisy, dusty city life... It has beautiful, spacious rooms, open kitchen with dining and really good food. The tour of the vineyards and winery are very professionally done. The wine tasting was amazing. I would recommend most of their white wines. You could simply go for evening walks, or ride about on atv's or bicycles. or simply sit back and relax with wine. Overall entertaining, informative and simply a perfect weekend getaway.

We visited Fratelli in Dec 2013 with my 8 yr old. Right from the time we checked in till we checked out, it was a wonderful experience. And we were left wanting for more. Rooms are comfortable, clean and well maintained, so goes for bathrooms. In fact was surprised to see branded toiletries. Food was almost like home made and we could request for authentic maharashtrian food ( though in advance). You could find tea served in fine bone china, very rare to find at any hotel. Staff was very hospitable. Lot of activities for kids. My kid never complained of getting bored even if we were busy with wine tastings. The lawn outside the rooms in wonderful. Given the peaceful and serene surroundings, you really feel rejuvenated. Lunch at Machaan was another great experience. At the winery, staff is well informed and provides in depth information on wine making to wine tasting. A very homely environment and would definitely like to revisit.

We went to Fratelli wines during the first week of December. It was a great experience for kids and adults. Kids loved the playroom and rides. Adults enjoyed the wines. Great service, great location! Staff is very supportive and carries wealth of knowledge. Not a single question went unanswered. Visit to the machan was amazing. Machan overlooking 150 acres of vineyard is serene. Feels like you are somewhere in Italy or France.

A great stress-buster is to visit the Fratelli winemaking facilities at Akluj 180km from Pune. It's an automated state of the art facility with hundreds of acres of vineyards around and with rooms to stay in its midst for overnighters. Learn about wine making from the grapes to the packaged bottles from a passionate and acknowledged expert, Sujata. Enjoy a wine tasting session with classic cheeses followed by a serene lunch on a hilltop overlooking miles of vineyards. Plan for an 8 am to 8 pm outing in an air conditioned bus exclusively arranged for you. The distance and time it takes (close to 4 hours each way) can be quite taxing but well worth the journey. A relaxing way to spend a day with connoisseurs. I visited with two Mexican families who thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
