Of all the Q joints between Abilene and Houston made the mistake of stopping here. Meat looked good but was dry and had no smoke flavor and yucky sauce. 2 brisket sandwiches and one tea $17.50 was too pricey

On a trip to Austin, Buddette decided to stop and get lunch here, and it became a stop on the way back and over and over again every time Buddette went to Austin. The moist beef brisket followed by a slice of coconut pie or buttermilk pie, the ultimate comfort food

My friends and I came here to enjoy all the goodness we hear about over the last year. And what a great call it was, the restaurant was filled with all types of goodies! We not only had a nice meal but also went home with all different types of baked goods.

We went here after the Bluebonnet Festival and trip to the Antique Rose Emporium. There was good parking, ample seating and a long line for food. The food was good, but very expensive. I was impressed by the huge displays of baked goods.

We stopped for lunch after visiting the Bluebonnet Festival. It was very crowded and the line was long and slow. But that was to be expected with all the visitors for the festival. Husband got sliced beef sandwich and I got a BBQ plate - sliced brisket, cole slaw, potato salad. The meat was tender and the BBQ sauce warm and spicy. We liked it. The potato salad tasted homemade fresh and the cole slaw was not too sweet. We would definitely stop there again to eat. With iced tea, cost was about $23.
