Wardens run this place. Usually, when you stay at a hotel, privacy is a right. However, here, you are susceptible to unscheduled, random room inspections. I've had someone peep into my room while I was in bed! It's like a prison and the guards can come in at any time. The housekeepers are complicit and pretend not to know like good cops, sometimes denying essentials to long term guests based on what Warden approves. They told me NOT to bring my blanket down to be cleaned more often than 3 months?!. I was even told that you cannot deny inspections when they "decide" to show up at the wrong time. I was even told, "So, what do you think? We're supposed to just let you come in at any time you want (Called asking for fresh sheets on an "off-housekeeping" day during the week) and get sheets?
