We just held our Mother's 80th birthday party at Pecan Street Inn and everything went really well. The Inn is very comfortable and quaint. Everyone was relaxed and had a wonderful time. Shawn and her husband are very nice and were available for whatever we needed. We all had a great time!!!!

Spent two nights in Bastrop, visiting with a friend. We always prefer a b & b to a traditional hotel and we enjoyed our stay at the Pecan Street Inn. The location is great! The owners are very nice. They live nearby and reminded us each time we saw them to call if we needed anything. They had numerous menus available and were happy to give us suggestions and information.
We learned a lot from them about the area and history of the house. Breakfast was delicious! Visiting with other guests at breakfast was enjoyable.
The house is comfortable. The pull-out sleeper in our room was comfy, too.
The house is a bit run-down. It could use a thorough cleaning and a little tlc but overall it was adequate.

We had a very nice stay the weekend of 10/17-19/2017. Shawn & Bill were able to offer us a place to stay at the last minute and we are truly grateful. The home was well kept and the food was great. I was impressed with Bill meeting with us and other guests upon arrival to give a little history of the home as well as suggestions for dining and other sites to see while in Bastrop. And Bill cooked and stayed for fellowship during breakfast and told stories and answered questions which was an added bonus. I definitely recommend a stay when visiting the Austin area.

This B&B is a bit of old world charm combined with the best breakfast in town. The owners are one of the nicest couples I’ve ever met. They are very helpful with information about Bastrop and it’s history. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

We had the BEST experience at this B&B. The room and location was perfect, the hosts were very accommodating, and they had great suggestions for what to do around the area. Breakfast was my favorite part as the hosts and other guests staying at the B&B (they were from Scotland) chatted with us over a delicious breakfast about our common obsession with Texas Country music scene! Could not have asked for a more pleasant stay!!!
