Kinda out of the way place but a wonderful state park. The people are very friendly and helpful. The lake is beautiful and the cabins are very nice and right on the lakeside. Played golf at the Bear Trace course and it was in great shape. Fairways were beautiful and the greens were in very good condition. My favorite state park course in Tennessee.

Tims Ford Park is a great asset to Franklin County. It is taken care of and the staff is outstanding. Great walking trails, cabins, pool and even a Bear Trace golf course. I would recommend this venue to anyone visiting our community!

Very nice park for camping. Camping pads are very nice, high and n spite of a thunderstorm we remained dry. Public facilities are in need of refurbishing but other than that it is a very nice park to visit.

We stayed two nights in cabin #3 in late October. The weather was beautiful and so was the park. The cabin was great. Everything you need, including a cast iron skillet is here. Two big bedrooms with four big beds. One King and three queen size. The. Sunken living room had a nice gas fireplace and we watched the deer walking by from our kitchen table. There was even a family of deer sleeping right next to the bedroom balcony! Gorgeous park and cabins. We highly recommend this place.

Room tip: Ask for the cabins facing the lake. You won't want to leave the cabin.
