Where to start... It's a lovely cabin but not well taken care of. We paid a $60 cleaning fee and are still wondering what for. The bed linens and towels smelled like b.o. The floors haven't been mopped since it was built as was evident by the thick layer of black filth on our socks.
When renting the cabin we weren't told we had to hike over a hill to get to it. (25' straight down). The steps were nice but just try hauling all your crap back up the hill 15 times. My mom has hip issues and had I known we wouldn't have made her drag her rear up and down the steps only to be miserable.
On the bright side, the raccoons had an enjoyable time tearing out the trash as did the squirrels zipping down the tin roof all night long. That part was kind of amusing especially when they'd lose their nuts and then we'd hear them roll back down.
It's a beautiful place, but seriously needs updating, and a good ole fashion scrubbing inside and out.
