We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of July. The room was just right for the 3 of us. 2 queen size beds, refrigerator, microwave, big screen TV and nice desk space with free internet. When we arrived (11:00am) our room was not ready. They informed us that they would be ready at the standard 4:00pm check in time. No problem…
When we came back from Dollywood that evening our room was ready. We slept like babies and heard little or no noise. The clock radio has a built in sound machine for those light sleepers. The next day we left the room at around 7:30am for the complimentary breakfast. It varies each day. They serve such things as eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, cereal, beagles and muffins. There is a juice and milk machine. There is also coffee, hot tea and hot chocolate available 24 hours a day. Daughter loved the Hot Chocolate!!
Now the ugly! The housekeeping is the worst I believe I have ever seen. I’m thinking mainly due to the fact that they need to hire more workers to get the job done and in a timely manner. We would leave our room around 7:30am and return around 5:30pm. During our 2 day stay our room was never cleaned. The first day I called to see if or when our room would be serviced only to be told they are still in the building and shouldn’t be long. They never came! On the second day we arrived back in our room around 6:00pm again no cleaning done. Again I asked when would they be coming to refurbish towels and so forth I was told it would be a while. Nope not going to fly with me! Needs to be done now. They came in, got the towels, left new ones and took out our trash. Not acceptable in my book. If I’m paying $139.00+ a night I expect more than that. To top it off we witnessed about 5 cleaning ladies having a smoke break in the parking lot on our way out. Please Hampton Inn Pigeon Forge get the cleaning thing up to par before this hotel turns into a bad hotel.
On a good note. The outside pool area is lovely as well as the splash pad for your little ones. We would stay here again only if the cleaning staff gets going and gets their act together.

Room Tip: ask for a room facing the Christmas Inn. Beautiful view!!!

We were pawned off onto this hotel by another hotel who was overbooked. It was a mess! The other hotel said they had us a room at the Hampton Inn but they in fact did not. The staff at this Hampton Inn got to the bottom of the mess. The Asst Mgr Rose and the front desk staff was great! They took a bad experience and made a good one. The room is beautiful. The pools are great! This hotel is just starting out. If they keep up doing what they did today they will be #1 in no time!

When I booked this location I was looking forward to this new location then over the weekend saw the bad reviews I really should have paid attention and gone elsewhere.

1) check in: the front desk lady was not friendly or helpful at all, almost rude.
2) got to the room after taking a very slow ride up the elevator.
3) seeing that this location is a family vacation spot you would think the closet and drawer space would be ample, not here though.
4) the tv remote did not work, called to have it fixed, went to dinner turned on Tyne tv when we returned, no signal, called again, they came back up and fiddled around again for 30 minutes only to get SD Chanel's.
5) we bought a few things to put in the mini fridge only to find it not working.
6) the pool area had no towels, lights burned out, speakers not working and bugs and hair floating in the hot tub

These guys have been open for 30 days now, more than enough time to get the kinks out. Issues they are now having are just due to poor management.

We only spent one night here on our way to North Carolina. I wanted to stay at this property For two reasons, 1)it's brand new & 2) it's a Hampton & this whole week we are only staying in Hamptons. We asked for our usual room at the end of the hall & they were able to fill that request. The only down side was the fact that the room wasn't ready yet. It was almost 4:00pm I was a bit surprised by this. It worked out fine. They stored our luggage & we had an early dinner. We stayed in a reg.king room which seemed on the small side. There was a microwave & refrigerator. If you are staying for any lenghth of time you should plan on hanging up most of your clothes. There are two small drawers and one very small one in each night stands. We had a very pretty view from our eproom. We didn't use the pool area but it was super nice. The lobby area has a very large room off the main dinning area. It would be convenient for a large group to
sit in & visit.

The family just stayed here for one week with no problems at all. The hotel is off the Pigeon Forge strip, yet close to everything. Would stay again without reservation. Pardon the pun.
