My husband and I are staying at this KOA this week, mid August, and we have always stayed away from most KOAs because they have been so dated and unkept. Not this campground, It is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at in this area, not too crowded, not too loud and very well maintained.

Nice clean campground, the staff was very friendly and seemed to keep the place very clean. The pool/play area was away from most of the spots which kept the noise to a minimum. Thats not to suggest that there was a problem with the noise level in the park, with the kids in the park playing it still seemed quiet throughout.
We were just 2 miles from Dollywood & Splash Country and minutes from the main drag of Pigeon Forge. There was a walking trail/grassy area to play in right next to us as well.
The only negative was that the RV spots seemed a bit close, but really not too bad considering it all.

We rented a cabin, had everything we needed, the restrooms were clean there was a store and a good pool. Located down the street from Dollywood and right next to festival park. We walked through the park to the Old Mill area. Were very happy with the cabin they also had very nice rv spots some even had paved drives and patio furniture and chimineas. Playground was small but nice for the kids a very enjoyable stay.

We stayed at the cabin. It is a beautiful campground. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but there are mite (non biting) bugs in the cabin we were in. The staff were not able to tell us what the bugs are and they got in our linens and luggage.
