“Country at its best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 February 2012

The biscuits are to die for! Have eaten here 8 times in the last year. Never had a bad meal or service! Wait times at peak hours can be a bit long but they have several shops to occupy the time. Their store sells the best Granola in the country!

“Overated.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 February 2012

Ate at the Loveless Cafe today...Overated. Very pricey and not that good. Claim to fame is their biscuits but I think Popeye's are better and Kay say's Hardee's are. Fried chicken was dry and flavorless, Country Ham was not Kentucky country (no saltiness), bbq was very fatty and old tasting. I ordered a sampler. My fries came as cold as the room and I sent them back. Best thing was the white beans. Service was so-so, it was like they took it for granted people were coming in so it wasn't important. Our server ask in passing if everything was ok and kept going, later he did fill my water. Was not worth the drive.

“Wow! Worth the drive, worth the wait”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 February 2012

We headed out to Loveless after visiting Belle Meade Plantation since it is relatively close. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait and it was so worth that wait. We visited the shops while we waited and all of the shop workers were so friendly and nice to talk to. When we were seated, we ordered the family style, all you can eat. We had Fried Chicken and Meatloaf. I couldn't say which was better, they were both outstanding! The biscuits were beyond divine. We asked for Apple Butter and mixed with the honey and really, it was some of the best food I have ever eaten. The creamed corn was also completely amazing. We had a fantastic server with a great personality, the other patrons were friendly, the atmosphere was laid back and warm. We took our dessert to go since we couldn't fit another bite in. It has been a week and I am still wishing I could go back!! It will be on my list for every visit to Nashville.

“Willard is right!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2012

Great place for breakfast! Willard Scoot made the claim they have the best biscuits in the world. He's on target!! I had the pancakes and some of the best syrup I've put in my mouth. I'm sure everything on the menu is just as spectacular. No country stars this trip, but their presence is everywhere in the dining areas. If you're in the Nashville area you MUST eat here.

“Everything it was advertised to be. Great place to eat.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2012

Home made biscuits and fried chicken, family style with all the sides, delish!!! We were seated right away and for a Friday evening, that was a pleasant surprise. The food came out quickly, it was hot and very, very good. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. Just what you would expect from a destination restaurant that really understands customer service. When you are there waiting, check out all the autographed photos of country music and movie stars hanging on the walls. Everybody has been there.
