We heard some grumbling while waiting in the half-block line about waiting just to eat pancakes - but we loved our breakfast. I had eggs and bacon with a side of half an order of sugar and spice pancakes. My husband ordered the apple walnut pancakes with a side of bacon. Half an order was plenty of pancakes for us. They bring warm maple syrup to the table - and also cinnamon cream syrup for the s&s pancakes. Yum! Our bacon was crisp, as requested! And the water for my hot tea was really hot - a rarity at most restaurants. We had pleasant, attentive servers, and the seating hostess worked the line outside giving realistic estimates for the remaining wait, noting group size and answering questions. Glad to have made it to this famous Nashville spot. I’d go back to try some of the other pancake options. They also have omelets, sandwiches and salads on the menu - but why?
