The exhibits in this museum focus a lot on the body, which is a nice change from the physical science of other museums. There is a great area for kids to climb up to the 3rd floor, a solar system section, and the planetarium experience is wonderful. It is not a recorded program, but delivered by a docent of the museum.

Our 8 and 10 year old's enjoyed their afternoon at this science center. There was plenty to do to keep them occupied for 3 to 4 hours.

Our visit was 5 August 2017 the 8 pm show which had the variety Laser Tribute; track list included: Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, Ronnie James Dio, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Freddy Mercury, John Lennon, David Bowie, Whitney Houston, Jim Morrison, and Prince. Brought the tickets online and this place was nice and clean and in a safe location. The shows are after the center closes. The laser show was great but the only song choice that I did not like was the David Bowie – Space Oddity song. It was sad and since my child was going to deploy in 3 days it was about an astronaut going and not coming back. In this area that was not a good song choice for David B especially when he has made so many other good songs. It kind of almost killed the great mood you were in from the other songs. Overall the experience was great. I would do another laser show again.

My boys loved this place and they wanted to go back a second time!! The bouncing astro. activity was one of their favorites! Every activity is free, except for the simulated roller coaster 4-D ride. Great place to cool off on a hot day!

as Nashville natives, we are always looking for an adventure to take the girls on. We've been to the Adventure Science Center 3 times, and they love parts of it, but HATE the noise. and if little kids complain, I promise you any adults are miserable. Any potential great things I would like to say about the museum is ruined by the sensory assault on your hearing. if you want a great children's museum, head to Chattanooga. but this needs a new vision. first tip: TURN THAT DIN OFF!!!!!!
