The Thompson is a pretty Hotel trying like the rest of us to crawl out of pandemic. All precautions are still in place. There are limitations in terms of room service and though there is no turn down service there is full housekeeping each day automatically which is a welcome return!
The bar and restaurant had limited hours but the food and beverage program are very good and the staff very friendly. there is also an excellent coffee shop attached tot he lobby.

Hotel staff was exceptional throughout the weekend. From concierge to bell hop to hotel staff and maid service. Everyone was extremely helpful and made it a great weekend. Good location, easy to get Uber services and just overall wonderful experience. Thank you!

We had some issues our first night with a party going on in the room next door until 2am. Their team from the front seat to security was very responsive and the next day moved us to a nice quite suite. The rooms and suites are well appointed and tastefully decorated. Basic rooms need coffee makers tho. The breakfast included with Amex Platinum was generous and delicious. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked the suite again for another visit.

If so, stay at this hotel.
Rooftop bar is cool, nice coffee shop in lobby. Convenient to good restaurants nearby. But the 415am wake up every night to the trash truck behind the hotel ruined it. Also no contactless entry via the app? I still have to get a physical key? This is 2021, Hyatt.

I can't say enough about the staff and property. Had an A+ experience at this new hotel. In a great part of town for walking, dining, etc. Better than any other hotel I've stayed at in Nashville. Very pet friendly hotel with a leash free dog park open late a few blocks away. They even took our two large dogs. Diner was fabulous. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Well managed property, which you can tell right away from the positive energy from everyone who works there. A bit expensive, but worth every penny.
