It’s about half an hour by shuttle to International because Sydney airport is third word and that’s not the hotel’s fault. Allow the time and relax and you’ll get your flight, anyway. Great hotel, we loved the experience of sitting in the lounge sipping something alcoholic and watching the planes. Do ask for tea in the afternoon, the teapot and cups are delightful.

great stay, very trendy and great amenities. Really enjoyed the decor of the hotel and the location was perfect as I was staying overnight to get a regional flight the next day. Have already told people about how great the place was.

Comfortable sized room, comfortable bed and a great sized TV. We stayed on the 7th floor and had a great view over the airport. Coffee was great. Only issue was the limited food options. Very nice and friendly staff.

Hotel was nice and staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were comfortable and clean. Would be happy to stay here again. Location is walking distance to the airport but restaurant and bar locations are limited in the area.

Stayed for one night after long haul flight. Found the food option to be very poor especially after airplane food. Had trouble with door keys a number of times. Hard to lug all luggage to top floor for reception, then back down again to room. No safe storage facility on ground floor. Room very cold and got colder during the night. Down to 15.8C. Not able to change temperature from the room as it is centrally controlled. Finally asked reception to turn air con off which happened for 10 minutes. Then it came back on and went down to 14.8C At 5.00 am we gave up and went upstairs for fresh air as I was having a bad asthma attack due to the cold air. No other rooms available. Had breakfast at the limited offer again, and had to cook it ourselves. Staff apologizing but unable to deal with the cold room. Said that they had covered our breakfast which was a lie as we had already paid cash. Mechanic finally came at 9.00 am and said, The air con is totally not working. Not much help to us when we have had no sleep. No offer for compensation was made until we pushed the point. Struggled to get our luggage downstairs again and nearly died when I had some of the citrus water from the cooler they provide. It was very old, warm and overly infused with the lemon and lime. Also found the seats on the patio upstairs extremely uncomfortable as were many of the chairs inside.
The staff may be young and hip, but they do not have the experience to manage their guests when something goes wrong. Food very poor. Toilet flush fell off the wall. Comfort poor except for the beds. No concierge downstairs or ability to call a taxi. This hotel is not ready to be opened yet and a senior experienced member of staff needs to be appointed immediately.

Room Tip: Stay elsewhere where you have control over the air conditioning.
