We visited on a voucher but this made no difference to a friendly smiling welcome. We came on a Wednesday so it was quiet but still had an atmosphere. We found the food plentiful, different and tasty. This is a funky, share/tapas restaurant and we loved the concept.
Definitely, will be returning.

I purchased a coupon from Deals, and make a reservation straight away. Upon arrive early for my booking, they informed me that there were no tables available outside for dinner and they only had stools or couch and what looked like coffee tables available. The waiter (dark hair) there was about the only great asset to this business as she tried to be very accommodating despite the lack of tables (suitable to dine) at this venue. After waiting for 15 minutes we decided to eat at their lounge with coffee table, which was very VERY uncomfortable as I ended up with a sore back (don't actually suffer from back pain) by the end of our dinner. The entree was nice, mains nice and cocktail was also nice. I was VERY disappointed that my reservation meant NOTHING to the them. Not a restaurant but more of a bar venue, four tables doesn't constitute a restaurant at all. The "bar" was well decorated and cocktails nice, so would suggest not to dine here but definitely nice place to chill and relax and sip a few of their cocktails.

We love to go to Balmain and explore. With a number of restaurants it's hard to choose. Make sure you try this newer addition to the group! We were there for lunch so it was quiet, and calm. I'm sure in the evening it's humming with people.
This is a tapas and wine bar, and would definitely recommend! The dishes were inventive and had wonderful flavors. Definitely try the calamari with chermoula, and the garlic prawns with chili were wonderful. There were a variety of choices, so something for everyone. Best thing about tapas is you have room for dessert and I highly recommend the waffle with caramel and vanilla ice cream, so decadent and luscious! I should say that they know their wines as well, and when I couldn't decide gave me a taste, to help me out. Will be coming back for sure!

As a bar this place is good, funky lighting, lounges etc as a restaurant it's uncomfortable! The lounge seating is too low to eat at, the dining tables are too small for 4 people to sit at comfortably. The food is not bad, entrees such as Panko prawns and salt and pepper squid were good but the chicken croquettes and eggplant pistachio balls dry... main dish serving sizes are very small for share plates for 2!! The paella had hardly any rice at all!?? The wine list is also very limited...Maybe a good place for afternoon cocktails and snack rather than dinner...

The food at this place is nothing short of stunning - with service to match. Has been open only seven months, however Andrea the host and owner has really turned this into a fabulous Wine Bar and Restaurant right near the very heart of the Balmain Eat Street area. She has a lovely personality and if things are quiet (as they were when I visited there), is just as capable of being a fine chef as well.

Try their "Tapas" designed menu. Delicious items such as "Oven Baked Chicken Croquettes", "Heirloom Carrots" or "Panko Prawns in green chilli aioli" . The desserts are literally to die for with a special of the day being a "Toastie" filed with rhubarb and strawberries" Yum!!! Prices are very reasonable and it has a wine bar licence if you want to just drop in for a quick wine or similar. Try it - you'll love it!
