“The Perfect Retreat !”
Reviewed 25 March 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Located in a tiny hamlet some 5 miles from nearest town, but everything you could want or need is in this delightful terraced cottage, even games etc. Lovely split level garden which would be a delight in the Summer months. Plenty of pleasant short drives to countryside or coast. Dog friendly cottage with lovely fittings and furnishing, a real home from home. If you want a chilled out break, this is the place to go !

“Great cosy cottage in a lovely oocation”
Reviewed 3 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Spent 3 lovely nights at this great little cottage. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and shown around by the lovely Pat. The photos don't do the propriety justice really it's really clean, modern and cosy. You enter straight into the lounge with two sofas, a foldaway dining table, TV and log burner. From here you can go upstairs to the bedroom which has a vaulted ceiling and plenty of space. Back downstairs the kitchen is at the back, it's small but contains everything you can need. The shower room leads off the kitchen and whilst small is large enough for a double width shower.

The shared terraced garden is lovely and perfect for dogs and sharing was not a problem.

The property is on the main A470 but we didn't notice the road much at all. It's close to Machynlleth and routes to Aberdyfi and Dolgellau where there are lots of great walks. There's a woodland walk not far from the cottage too which gives wonderful views all around the area.

Pat and Keith who look after the property and live next door were lovely and very welcoming. When we bumped into them they were very chatty but not intrusive.

“Quaint”
Reviewed 8 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

A lovely small cottage, modern touches which hasn't lost the country feel. Pat and Keith are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and freindly.

The surroundings are lovely and the birds in the back garden eating poor Pat out of nuts and bird feed are delightful.

There is nothing around which is what I needed. Snowdon accessible and the drive is beautiful (but then you are in Wales) if you are considering a motorbike trip then I would recommend this as a base.

So glad I booked this place.
