“Beautiful , perfect and wonderful hospitality”

I stayed in the main house with 12 other ladies for my hen weekend. It was perfect Will (the owner) and the care taker were very hospitable to ensure we had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful in lovely surroundings. The real fires were lovely. Even in January the house was warm. There was plenty of space for us all to natter and eat together. Comfy beds and a pool. The amenities were also great. The house has so much history too. We all enjoyed reading about it. Places to visit near by was a bit tricky in January. But we did visit Tywyn and also Corris where we painted pots and made candles. They opened specifically for us though as they are not normally open. The cross foxes pub near corris was very nice too . We visited on the Sunday on our way home for a late dinner. Would highly recommend llanfendigaid and would love to go back.

This place is just amazing:
-ideal for corporate escapes - we were 18pax split into main house and stable
Fully equipped kitchen, a lot of art on the walls, wifi
You can easily forget about the world in here - most of days we have spent with a lot of activities like rock climbing, canoeing, mine discovering. A lot of thrill and emotions provided by Arthog. You could really learn yourself and test your limits

“Brill alternative hen weekend in a lovely house”

15 girls had an amazing weekend for my hen. The house was easy to find, in a beautiful setting and was the perfect party and chill out house. The beds are so comfy with feather duvets. Only one tiny bug, not enough loo roll for 15 girls so bring some extra with you! Apart from that the house had everything!!

“Beautiful House in a Fantastic Location in Wales”

We visited Llanfendigaid earlier this month to celebrate my Uncle’s birthday and had the most fantastic time. The house is absolutely wonderful with a huge amount of character, and is incredibly comfortable and cosy for its size. I don’t know what they’ve done to the beds but they’re amazing, we all slept very well (although that may also be due to the excess fresh air and wine)!! The house retains its original features and there’s lots of family history dotted about the place which really adds to the experience and made us feel very at home. We enjoyed long dinners in the beautiful dining room, vegging out in the sitting rooms and going for crazy walks in Snowdonia National Park. The house also has an indoor swimming pool and is close to a beach. There were a couple of pubs / restaurants close by but not many so be prepared to travel a little if you like eating out. To be honest though, when you’re in such an idyllic location – why would you leave? Truly outstanding!!

“Wonderful Base to Explore Wales”

Our extended family rented llanfendigaid alng with the adjoining garage apartment for 2 weeks. It was extremely comfortable and all the rooms were nice (though a bit dated). Staying there gave a glimpse of the upper class digs to this colonial. Kitchen was fully equipped and there was a indoor swimming pool (heated) for those who wanted it. Caretaker was a bit of a sourpuss but we all were warm. Getting use to Aga heat and hot water was..interesting. The nearby town of Tywyn had everything you needed from food stores to ice cream manufacturer outlets. Overall this was a great place in Mid Wales to act as a base of operations for day tripping the northern 3/4s of the country. With 21 of us staying there the cost per person was very reasonable.
