“3 Bedroomed holliday cottage”

This is a large property with lots of room to move around in. Although it states a cottage I would call it a terraced house and is situated in the middle two of four other properties. The area is very quiet and there is parking for one car directly in front of the house. This is an old property and as such has no central heating and has a gas fire in the rear room which was ample to keep the room cosy and a coal and log fire grate in the front room which took quite some time to get warm. Bathroom and toilet are downstairs which is a bit inconvenient in the night and in spite of some form of heating in the bathroom I found the room to be cold. Same with the spacious bedrooms as they are heated with oil filled radiators and fail to make much difference to the temperature of the bedrooms. Beds were not the most comfortable but once in were warm and enough blankets were supplied for the purpose. The property would benefit greatly with decent draught proofing as it really is very draughty There is a washer and a separate dryer which we had no need to use but they are a useful feature especially if you have children with you. There was a good vacuum cleaner but I couldn't find any fittings with it except the one which is used for around the cushions on furniture and there was no mop and bucket which would have been useful. At the rear there is a conservatory which would be delightful during warmer months but was too cold for us to use much in February
