Yes lavender is the theme! ... with lavender paintwork and lavender growing in the front garden.
View from the large lounge (seating seven) looking through the dining area to the conservatory.
The dining area may be approached via the lounge, kitchen or the conservatory.
The kitchen has a d/washer, micro, dbl. oven, fr. freezer, wash. m/c, coffee m/c ... etc., etc.
The conservatory leads out onto the main patio via the double doors.
This shows the 3 piece, the dbl. breakfast table, the storage box/table & blinds going all around.
Looking inwards towards the dining area beyond. There is a remotely controlled central light/fan.
The double room is very comfortable (as is the bed!) and well furnished with lots of storage, etc.
Again the twin room has comfortable beds ... which can be pushed together and there is good storage.
The single or twin room. A guest bed comes up to the height of the main bed and forms an 'L' shape.
This shows the view from the landing ... looking to the roof garden and beyond to the sea.
The bathroom is very attractive and also has under floor heating to make it even more comfortable.
The shower is electric which is separate from the tank and there is also a heated radiator.
The garden is private and secure and the small patio can be seen in the far right corner.
The main patio and the stairs up to the roof garden ... photo taken out of season we do weeding!!!
The roof garden has access from the patio or the landing. It has both dining and lounging furniture.
This shows a little bit of the view from the roof garden. Beyond the 2 fields is the cliff path.
Moelfre's pebble beach, once important for herring fishing. The lifeboat house is round the corner.
The beautiful Swnt cottages, only 5 minutes away, next to the rock pool beach and the fishing rocks.
The amazing statue of Dick Evans, the famous lifeboat cox of Moelfre, at sunrise over Snowdonia.
The sculptor Sam Holland created this statue and has captured an exact likeness to the great man.
This is Moelfre's new and prestigious lifeboat station which houses a new larger boat as well.
A memorial depicting The Royal Charter disaster which occurred just a short walk from the cottage.
Lligwy beach is great for dog walking and safe for swimming. It is just a short walk round the path.
The other side of Lligwy beach looking along the cliff path. There is a cafe, toilets and parking.

Just returned from a week here, one of the nicest houses we have stayed at on Anglesey.
The house has comfortable beds with lovely linen which is always a problem in most houses we have stayed in, hard nasty beds, these were great.

The house is large enough to spread out, with 3 rooms downstairs. We sat in the conservatory and dining room a fair bit.
Has all the usual stuff to make your stay easy like dishwasher, washing machine, fan oven, electric shower.

The weather was lovely. We went on the Puffin Island cruise from Beaumaris (there are two companies doing trips, choose Starider as they have been doing it for 35 years and are more knowledgeable and also cheaper) which was great. We visited South Stack after a nice drive around the Trearddur Bay coastline, Rhoscolyn beach (great for young kids as very sheltered from the wind and the sea is usually very calm and shallow) Cemlyn bay, Bull Bay which has lovely rocky coastline, nice to walk the dog and the kids will love the sea there as again is a sheltered but rocky cove, very picturesque. Nice hotel right on Bull Bay which does very tasty herby seasoned fries. Also visited Red Wharf Bay which if you keep to the left has a nice sandy beach. Another day we took a drive to Porth Eilian which has a great cliff top walk at the top.

The town of Moelfre is very nice with a n olde worlde charm to it. The chippy is very busy but worth the wait.
We went into Benllech for top up shops in the week where there is a Tesco, Co op, and a Spar.
We did the main shop in Llangefni at Asda, would not recommend as lots of empty shelves. So try Morrisons at Bangor instead.

Keith was the perfect host, could not do enough for us.

Would definitely recommend Lavender Cottage and hope to return.
