We stayed in this lovely cottage for 3 days. It is very well equipped and very comfortable. Much bigger inside than it looks on the outside! Beaumaris is a nice town with lots of unusual shops.
We were so happy with our choice of cottage - Return Again is deceptively spacious and stylish behind its quaint facade. The ground floor rooms flow really well and, in the current wonderful weather, the French doors meant that we could keep the interior cool. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are modern - having two ensuites meant that we all had our own bathrooms too. The kitchen is enormous and well equipped.
The cottage is a short walk from Beaumaris’s pleasant high street which has a good selection of shops, cafes and pubs. We tried the Bishopsgate for dinner and were impressed with the food and the friendly and thoughtful service. Fish and chips from the Neptune were excellent too.
Parking is a bit problematic - this was acknowledged beforehand and seems to be a common theme of reviews of Beaumaris. We used the large seaside car park for one car and always managed to find on street parking within a reasonable distance of the cottage for the other, however.
Anglesey was a revelation - I can’t believe I’ve never been there before. The views and landscapes are stunning and we saw seals at Penmon, as well as many sea birds. The highlight of the holiday was a trip up Snowdon on the train - the panorama from the top was amazing and it was perfectly clear and warm, unlike our last sub-zero visit!
Definitely not our last visit - highly recommended.
Perfect location to explore Baumoris and the island of Anglesey.
Great communication from Salley after booking and brilliant Payment terms giving you chance to save up for your holiday.
Cottage is right slap bang in the centre of Baumoris with plenty of space for us and the kids with a bedroom and toilet/shower downstairs with a decent sized living area, dining area and a huge kitchen with everything you could ever need to prepare meals for the family, we didn't need to take anything for cooking.
Two big double beds upstairs one with onsuite nice comfy beds, black out curtains and nice clean linen and comfy pillows we had a cracking weeks sleep very nice and cosey. The kids bedroom had bunk beds which the kids enjoyed sleeping in, the two monkey teddy went down a treat, it's a very blue boyish room and with having two very pink loving girls they found it quite amusing to he staying in what they called a boys bedroom? Again clean and comfy and not once did they wake up until morning time.
We will coming back to Baumoris as a yearly holiday and hope to book the cottage again next year.
My only moan would be to upgrade the televisions in the front room and the main bedroom to bigger screens and smart screens so guests could watch Netflix or other online streaming, the weather was too good to be staying in but if we came back in winter it would be great to have this option, there is a DVD player and we managed to find the film IT on sale for £6 in the local shop so we watched a DVD one night, the couch in the front room is dead comfy.
Clean, comfortable cottage within strolling distance of the sea front. Convenient courtyard to rear for drying towels or relaxing with a drink. Welcome tray of Bara Brith and milk in the fridge appreciated. We'd happily return again as we love Beaumaris. Interesting little shops, especially fond of Tredici delicatessen and visit the Castle Gardens just off the high street. As a keen gardener, I appreciated the thought that had gone into creating this little gem. Lovely cottage and town.
