“Great Food”
Reviewed 19 September 2011

We didn't stay here, (we stayed at Rhianfa B + B) it was our first visit to Anglesey. We ate here on Saturday night in the lovely restaurant, the food arrived piping hot, had the onions rings & garlic bread as starters, these were so good that we had them again on Sunday evening with chips sat in the bar area.
The staff were friendly & welcoming & the cask ale was gorgeous. Will def eat here again next time we return to Bull Bay.
I've only rated this as 4 as we did not see any bedrooms etc, only the public areas.

We have traveled all around the world and were looking for a quiet getaway in an authentic Welsh setting. The Bull Bay hotel is ideally located to explore Anglesey and is in a quiet location close to the Anglesey coastal walks. We had a fantastic room with views of the bay on two sides and were well looked after by the friendly staff who were very hospitable. The dinner and breakfast service were excellent and the full English breakfast was exceptionally generous. We absolutely recommend the Bull Bay Hotel and will visit again one day.

Room Tip: Room 3 has great views of Bull Bay

Just returned after a long weekend with a group of 9 playing golf on Anglesey. Everything went superbly. The hotel organised the accommodation, the Anglesey golf card and the tee off times. We ate in the hotel restaurant each night and food and service was always excellent. The well-kept JW Lees beer was an added bonus. Even the early breakfasts were served with a smile. Looking forward to next year already.

We stayed here just overnight after going on a day trip. The owners were new to the hotel and were very friendly and let us stay with our little dog,the ground level is a pub/bar open to the public which we were allowed to take the dog in,but just in the games room which was very welcome as we had a very nice evening in there. Our room overlooked the beach and sea and was lovely.
But I have left the best for last..the breakfast is fantastic, cooked beautifully and lots of it,we will definately stay there again!

A beautiful calm and tranquil location, a good welcome and friendly bar staff , decor and refurshiment in progress.
We found the beds uncomfortable, small and with poor quality bedding, the rooms were clean and with good views of the bay .
You do need to be aware of the breakfast policy we were asked to select the time and choice for breakfast on the first night and were not aware that this was then set for the rest of our stay . We received a very frosty response on the following morning when we arrived 20mins later and were made to fell very uncomfortable by the manager and several comments were made that suggested he chefs reqirements were more important than the guests. The experience we had of the chefs before that had been excellent, they stayed on to cook for us on the first night and the lobster on the second night was great. So sorry will not be back due to manager i have been in the business for 20 years and my son is a chef, the customer comes first and you should be made to feel like that.
