Outstanding food, wonderful views, pet friendly, just perfect!

Come here to recharge your batteries. The location is stunning and the surroundings quiet and calm. Barbara and Kevin are very friendly and our dog was made most welcome. The food is just amazing. We stayed 3 nights dinner, bed and breakfast and everything we were served was of the highest quality. Such a treat to get such inventive vegetarian food, perfectly cooked and in generous quantities. The vegan wine too was very good. Extremely comfortable mattress and crisp cotton bedlinen meant we had a wonderful quality of sleep. It was just a lovely experience staying in Tremefion.

Our room had a lovely view out toward Portmeirion (that and Plas Brondanw were the reasons for our visit to the area). We greatly appreciated the tasty vegetarian meals and the conversations we had with other guests. I really hope we will have the opportunity to visit again.

Myself and 5 friends stayed here for a weekend trip, the location is outstanding. The hosts Kevin and Barbara were two of the loveliest people and made the stay that extra bit special. The food was incredible and i couldn't fault it. The hotel rooms were spacious, clean and the bed was extremly comfortable, we had the most amazing views, food and company. We definitely hope to return to this hotel in the future for another amazing trip.

Room tip: The double bed rooms at the front of the house have the amazing views.

Great hosts!
We arrived later than planned, but had called ahead to let Kevin and Barbara know. When we arrived we had a gorgeous afternoon tea set up for us. And we chose our dinner from a menu. All meals were delicious! The rooms were lovely, our room was large with a lovely shower ensuite, the other double room we booked was also large with a beautiful bathroom. These two rooms with a spectacular view! The other two rooms we booked were again large with views of the gardens around the house. Our hosts and their dog keeper were delightful and friendly.
Great hotel, beautiful location and gorgeous place to visit!

Thanks Kevin and Barbara!

We had a very nice comfortable en suite room with a view of the Dwyryd Estuary and Portmerion. The food was great and the welcome kind and interested. The family dog is a charmer. We used the local trains to get around and walk. Some of the paths in the area are relatively little used and were hard to follow; we needed to do a lot of navigation.

Room tip: 2 rooms have estuary views

I traveled alone with my little dog, I wanted a couple of days of peace, which I duly got and felt like I had been away much longer. My room was perfect, I spent most of the time just gazing at the spectacular view.
Travelling as a vegetarian is generally tricky, even in this country, so to stay in this hotel was a dream.
The food was delicious , plentiful, imaginative and has really put some enthusiasm back in to my own eclectic cooking style.

My favorite was the sorrel and hazel nut soup, something I have never tasted before, it was amazing.

The area lends itself to walking, the garden to contemplating, the conservatory to snoozing.

Im planning on returning with a group of my students next year!

Room tip: front of house with a view of the estuary
