“Comfortable, cosy cottage”
Reviewed 3 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Situated in a quiet location surrounded by woodland and close to the Mawddach Trail makes this an ideal base for both walking and relaxation. A warm reception awaited us on our arrival - glowing lights and a burning log fire. Sandra and Rob, our hosts, were very welcoming making sure we were comfortable and providing us with local information. We had a wonderful time over the New Year period and would definitely recommend this cottage.

“We loved it so much we went back for more!”
Reviewed 18 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Stayed in this cottage in July for 4 days and so enjoyed it and the surrounding area that we immediately booked it for 10 days in September.
Not so much a cottage as the small wing of Abergwynant Hall this property is very comfortable and incredibly well equipped and maintained. What a joy to stay somewhere where everything works! Sandra and Rob are wonderfully welcoming and helpful -where else do you get the woodburner lit for your arrival and a bottle of Red and two glasses at the ready?
Dolgellau is treasure, shops as they used to be, friendly eateries and easy parking.
Any downside? Well not really, holidays like this should be an escape form the modern world, but a bit of internet access really does add to the enjoyment and help planning the day. Still very highly recommended
