This cottage is a few miles of the beaten track but boy is it worth it. Stunning setting! Although there is plenty to do in the area if you just wanted to sit in all day then this is the place for you - the garden room and scenery are sublime. We were blessed with superb weather but even if it's raining the view would be spectacular and changing. Plenty of walks from the house itself. A great trip over the pass to Lake Vyrnwy. Many other Welsh beauty spots and attractions within reach. The house is more than well equipped and Nona, the owner, is generous in her supplies and with her time. A great mixture of old and new features. Choice of two cosy evening rooms and a light filled garden room. Cannot recommend highly enough.

“Superb”
Reviewed 14 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Maesmor is a beautiful house with fantastic views. When not out & about enjoying the area we spent most of our time in the garden room just taking in the view and watching the wildlife in the garden - daily visits by a squirrel pinching apples from the tree, various birds including a pheasant and one day we even had 2 sheep grazing when we got back. Nona is a lovely lady and nothing is too much trouble, everything is provided including a welcome pack. We have already recommended the house to other family members.

this is a fantastic cottage in a great location, it is well equipped with everything you need, the welcome pack is a nice a touch, and the owner is very friendly and thoughtful, it turned cold while we were there and after phoning us to make arrangements, made a special visit to bring us warmer quilts. the views from the back garden are stunning, and if you like to look at the stars, make sure you take a telescope, on a clear night they are spectacular, we stayed for a week and had a great time.
