what a fantastic afternoon we had here celebrating our First Wedding Anniversary. Tina the Manageress showed us straight to a table that had just become free and was delighted that we had chosen there to celebrate our Anniversary and even brought us a bottle of complimentary prosecco. Although the lunch time menu was available, Tina arranged with the chef that we could have anything we wanted from the main menu - food was delicious and beautifully presented. We were served by Tina's slightly older "sister from another mister" and her chat and banter was fantastic. Our afternoon was just lovely and a huge thank you to the ladies and team at Porters Cove for their efforts and generosity. We will most definitely be back - thank you ladies :)

Came here as a group of 8 for lunch, we’re very disappointed by lots of things. Decor is very bling and not that tasteful, service was slow and seemed to be too many young people and an overpowering boss, food was average and not worth what was being charged. When we arrived we saw plates on the kitchen counter with cling film on them so looked like veg was being heated in a microwave rather than cooked

We went on Easter Sunday and shared the hanging kebabs for our main, which were very disappointing. The meat was just bland and had no taste to it at all! Everything that we had , I think I could have done a better job of myself at home. Very average, very basic and they event forgot to bring us cutlery for our main! Safe to say we won’t be returning!

Hate doing this when it’s negative, I pre ordered my meal here. So it’s not like they didn’t have time to buy the meat in fresh from a local source. Lamb Kebab in Wales (I was hoping for some Welsh Lamb) basically I got hot dog meat that you would give your dog. No it was a Kofta it was frozen and chips are like Home fries. Sorry Porters but this just isn’t right the entire menu is a disappointment. The beer is good and the staff tried their best sadly I don’t think I’ll be eating here again.

We had a lovely time at Porters Cove with delicious food and even better staff! We were given roses and birthday shots to celebrate being 21 which was a lovely touch. The manager was accompdating and very friendly and took the time to check in with all of the customers. We particularly enjoyed the Adele dance! We would definitly recommend Porters Cove to others visiting Wales!
