“Dissappointed , property dated and needing TLC”

The good points were both the location and size of plot. The bad bits were the dated appearance of the bungalow inside and out ,the fact file greeted us with things to do in 2011 so that paints a picture!
Whilst advertised for 9 guests there was insufficient space and chairs in the lounge for all to be seated. Cutlery , crockery and saucepans left much to be desired.
The staircase to the upper floor was positively dangerous because of the steep pitch so much so a family member is still nursing bruises having slipped down the stairs.
Garden furniture was tired and the metal chairs rusty and there was no useable barbeque.
It was an expensive rental and really more was expected of it. Perhaps the owners could take heed as there is so much potential in the property---sadly not realised for us though for our stay in 2015.

“Good location, OK house”
Reviewed 12 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

Abersoch is a lovely destination for a quiet weekend away. There a bunch of small towns and walking trails and the beach. For NYE, there were fireworks all along the coast. The house itself was fine, but it's not suitable for anyone coming from outside the country. You have to provide towels and sheets and a there's no close grocery store, so you need to bring a lot of stuff with you. There's no Wi-Fi, which was also inconvenient considering we are all professionals who needed to have some level of connectivity to our workplace. There is also only space heaters for heating a house in Wales in the Winter, which you should turn off when you leave, so the heating situation gets tenuous in the Winter.

That being said, we had a great time and were comfortable because we brought three cars worth of stuff with us.

Four friends stayed at the property. Had plenty of rooms. Clean, tidy, ideal for families with children. Good quiet, location close to Abersoch town and the beach.

Would definitely stay there again.

“Ideal family accommodation - good value for money”

My family and I (all 9 of us) have just spent a week for the first time at Trem Tudwall. We found this spacious dormer bungalow was ideal and completely fulfilled are requirements. The owners were very helpful and responsive to any questions etc. The location is very peaceful but also within a mile to the centre of Abersoch.
It has plenty of facilities with 4 Televisions a DVD player and also a WII, a portable stereo and games console. The bedrooms are a good size with plenty of storage facilities. The kitchen is also a good size with all neccessary utensils and electrical items and particularly a big fridge/freezer. The bathroom is good size with bath, shower, storage and shaver socket, the en suite upstairs is also good size with a great shower. The living/dining room is a good size with a large dining table for the family to eat at. The conservatory is also a good size and an ideal place to chill out. The general condition of the property inside and out is very good. Outside there are two large gardens (front and rear) which our grandchildren really enjoyed playing football, cricket etc., there is also a large decking area with table and chairs and the view from the decking area and also from the upstairs bedroom over St. Tudwall's Bay is absolutely fantastic.
An added bonus for milk, bread etc is the Spar Shop just half a mile
away.
We were so impressed with Trem Tudwall that we have already booked again for next year.

Great Location for holiday on the Lleyn Peninsula, within a few minutes walk into Abersoch, and only a short drive to all the wonderful beaches in the area.

The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to self cater. There were lots of extras included which were available to us like binoculars, dominoes , picnic equipment etc.

Loads of hot water and a good shower. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Trem Tudwall. If I had one comment to make it is that the teenagers in out party were desperate for WiFi, so it may be something to consider for the future
