I had a Reuben. It was short on pastrami, dressing and taste. My date said the gumbo was good. The atmosphere is loud and service was fair. I'll not be back.

Venue suggested as a take out food place for my stay near by in a conference hotel. Big menu with lots of fried food, etc. I walked 2 blocks to eat indoors, couple of picnic tables out front on sidewalk. Very casual, full bar, good service, lots of food choices, stuff hanging on the wall, located in old building that does not look like much from outside but pleasant inside.

The service was excellent and the fried green tomatoes were even better. The teriyaki bacon wrapped shrimp was to die for and the wild rice was amaze-balls. Definitely will be visiting again next time I'm in Memphis.

This is a great little Memphis secret. We asked a local where they would go to eat and they said "Westy's". So, we first started going there a few years ago and cannot get enough!
The sandwiches are always great. The service is always good. And, the desserts are to die for. Make this restaurant a on your "must do Memphis" list. You won't be disappointed.

This is the best place to stop in a get a meal. Love their wild rice #9. Great thing is I can add gouda or whatever else I want.
Tried almost everything and I'm always happy!!!
