We really enjoyed our recent stay at Cnoc-na-Faire our room was Isle of Eriskay which has double aspect windows taking in the spectacular surrounding scenery. There’s also a wonderful view whilst one sits on the loo!! The room is nicely decorated in an appropriate tartan theme (as all the rooms are) and a wee drop of whiskey before bed is complementary. Although our visit was in June the weather was not very kind to us and it was nice to have the heating available to us in our room. A nice breakfast with plenty of choice is served by David who is a super host and makes you feel very welcome.

Cnoc-na-Faire is situated in an idyllic spot giving you complete peace and quiet with only the sounds of the local wildlife and an occasional steam train. However in just minutes you are on the fast road which links Fort William and Mallaig.

Enjoy it – we did!

Only stayed one night but wished it could have been longer. Extremely clean and comfortable room. Fabulous cooked breakfast with terrific selection. Beautiful views. Lovely 20 minute walk to village of Arisaig - which had a nice pub with deck overlooking the water. Hope to get back there one day!

My husband and I spent 2 nights here at the end of a 16-day holiday in the West of Scotland. It was lovely. The location was fantastic with amazing sunset views for the beautiful weather we enjoyed at the end of the trip. The rooms were comfortable and nicely designed with thoughtful additions and the most comfortable beds we've EVER slept in! The breakfast menu was extensive and generous, and absolutely delicious. We didn't meet Jenny, but David was great - funny and easy to talk to and he provided wonderful friendly service. The comfort touches like the honesty residents bar and free dram for guests in the evening are the kind of thing that makes this place stand out from the crowd. Keeping the rates consistent year-round and not having massive seasonal fluctuations also appealed to me as it showed confidence in consistent service and rewards for returning guests in addition to being appealing off-season. The business has been sold and David and Jenny were in their last month before packing up for a well-earned break after 16 busy years. The new owners will doubtless put their own stylistic stamp on things, but it will be interesting to see if they keep some of David and Jenny's features that worked so well.

We stayed here for 1 night to remember the beauty of Arisaig. I have to say the weather was fantastic and our stay at Cnoc-na-Faire the same
The whole place is spotless with some great little touches.
We dined in the Arisaig Hotel at night ( about 15 min walk ) the rooms nicely finished and very clean plenty pillows and towels.
Honesty bar a nice touch and I could imagine it in wet weather being well used and a great asset, we sat outside to admire the fantastic view!
Breakfast plenty of choice the salmon and scrambled eggs looked lovely
Thanks David !

Fantastic B and B overlooking the bay with great views to Muck, Eigg and Rhum.
Within walking distance of Arisaig and close to the stunning silver sands beach at Morar. Mallaig ferry to Skye is a short drive away.
Beautiful rooms, great breakfast and a fantastic host. Highly recommended.
