No longer serving evening meals but definitely still a charming place to stay when visiting this unique and delightful part of Scotland.

Have stayed here several times in the past when offering full hotel facilities, now presented as a Bed & Breakfast it greatly undervalues the charm and consistent attention to detail which prevail throughout the house.

David and Jenny were and continue to be your delighted and delightful attentive hosts, always available for advise, tour dinner or other recommendation.

Hospitality and professionalism exude throughout along with with my definite recommendation.

Room Tip: All rooms are delightful but try corner room overlooking car park and sea.

Great hosts, wonderful breakfast with history lessons if required. The honesty bar is such a treat, never waiting get served. The location is spot on for the area, not forgetting Local Hero. (DVD in every room). Very clean and tidy, small rooms but what the heck!

We got to Malaig really late after climbing Ben Nevis and everything was fully booked. Luckily we found this beautiful place, like at 23:00 at night and we needed to leave early for the 9 am ferry. The lovely owner welcomed us with open arms and showed us the acommodations, which are of great taste. He also offered to serve us breakfast 15 min earlier so we could make it on time to our ferry. The room was really comfy and nicely decorated and had cute details such as a small picture explaining the tartan in the room. Definitely recommend!

Very friendly owners, David and Jennifer, who greeted me on arrival. Rooms very clean and comfortable. I had twin room with sea view. TV and coffee service in rooms. Iron on request. Honesty bar in reception. Good breakfast choice either continental or cooked on request. Only complaints is wireless was not very reliable or speedy and shower did not drain. Neither were deal breakers and I would stay here again as beautiful part of the world.

We only stay one night here as it was on our way to Skye and we were very pleased this place was recommended to us by a good friend.

Our bedroom was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated.

Beautiful views.

We love the attention to details in terms of decor, the spacious bathroom, the strong shower, the selection of toiletries, the DVD of Local Hero (filmed locally!), the honesty bar (excellent selection - my fav being Fraoch Heather Ale), the complimentary whisky, and the touch of humour with the mugs and the Scottish comic book.

Our host made us welcomed and we very helpful in helping us sort out our ferry and making sure we get there on time.

My advice to other travellers: make sure you book your ferry journey and your restaurants in advance!
