My favourite place to go
Has everything you need
Safe for kids
Quiet and tranquil
Lodge was comfortable, warm and well equipped. Scenery was fabulous and lodge was only 100 yards from the loch. There were a few negatives...lodges are well away from nearest village, prices at the only pub/ restaurant were high, and lodge cleaner wasn’t exactly welcoming. However, on the plus side people generally in the area were very friendly and welcoming and if you get good weather (afraid we didn’t) then place would be idyllic.
Enjoyed scenery and location and staff in the nearby hotel and bar very helpful .we met some nice people .
My family and I stopped in this beautiful cabin for Christmas and we had a fabulous time. Lodge 22 is well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. Wooden floors throughout and a heating in every room. It was minus 4 overnight during our stay and we were never cold. They decoration gives its a lovely homely feel and it also has wifi, which is a godsend with 2 children. Although I did always get a mobile data signal. Theres is a hotel and pub right next to the site with a fab beer garden looking over the Loch. We enjoyed some long walks and admired the stunning views and the children played on the beach which is literally a stones throw away from he lodge. The nearest big shop is a good hour round trip but Asda do deliveries the site. I would 100% recommend this place.
