We popped in here for a couple of drinks and the place is definitely top class , not overpriced at all we did not eat here but saw the food coming out of the kitchen and it looked delicious, the views over loch lomond are stunning while you relax and enjoy a drink.

This stay was via an online deal. The Hotel consists of three main buildings. The first is the reception/restaurant and bar area. The second and third are accommodation buildings with the furthest from the reception being the one where we were allocated our room. The room is spacious and is fitted with a double bed and bunk beds for children. The bath/shower is situated behind a head height partition and is open plan. The toilet is behind a door in the entrance lobby. Access is initially from the corridor although having been given a key for the patio door we could have come straight in that way. The room had been freshly decorated and was very pleasant although the dressing table had been subject to a bit of rough treatment. It is a very comfortable room and has lovely views across the Loch. Access to the Loch is a very short stroll from the car park and has a jetty into the Loch. The leisure centre is on the block in which our room was located, and this seemed ideal till I discovered that we had to go to the reception block, sign into the leisure centre, then walk back bearing in mind that it is an open carpark area, then do it again when finished in the pool. This is a very inconvenient way to spend a holiday. I do understand that there are probably some H&S issues about signing in and out, but normally this is done in a pool reception desk where an attendant/lifeguard is present. Alternately, it could be done electronically using a swipe card. Anything rather than walking back across the carpark when the wind and rain are on. The bar is lovely and has gorgeous views across the Loch. The bar prices are in my opinion quite high, although the service is very good. The restaurant was quite busy and the service was again very good. There is a supplement for some items and my view is that £10 for an average steak with a further £2.50 for a sauce is above and beyond. Although we both enjoyed our meal I feel the menu is trying to be something that is not quite achieved. The pate was almost liquid and not a pleasant texture. Breakfast was excellent and again the service was also excellent. The receptionist was a very friendly and pleasant person who made us feel very welcome. Be aware that although WiFi is free and easy to use throughout the hotel, the phone signal in our room was non-existent, of course, that may depend on one's own provider. A similar comment about TV reception should be made, although, to be fair we made no complaint about it until we were checking out. The problem being that the picture froze, or disappeared with a "no signal" message every 5 minutes or so. In general, we had a pleasant stay with clean and comfortable accommodation, pleasant staff and good food. One last comment, this is not a cheap place to stay and in this price range all issues must be addressed prior to a customers arrival.

Room Tip: A room with a balcony would have better views.

We arrived early yesterday and our room was ready for us. As soon as we opened the door we loved the Deluxe Corbett room we had been given . Views were perfect , I can’t even begin to explain how beautiful it was . We also visited the Amber spa which was great and a 2 minutes walk from the main entrance . It was lovely and a nice addition to our break . Had a walk along the beach and popped into a nearby coffee shop . We stayed at hotel for dinner , bed and breakfast and the food was amazing. The staff were so helpful and polite and even offered to take some photos of myself and my husband . Came home today after a fantastic stay and immediately booked another night away at The Lodge on Loch Lomond .. thanks to all the staff for making our stay to enjoyable .

This hotel was a joy the stay in, from the reception staff who got us booked in at the last min in a room that had a stunning view to the relaxed atmosphere at the bar. Being a Sunday I thought the place would be quite but it was busy and had a nice buzz. £139 Dbb I thought was good value for money. The room was great the food was great the breakfast was great. Don't drive past this place give it a try.
