“Lovely loch-side cottage”
Reviewed 30 August 2018 for a stay in August 2018

This cottage has everything you could possibly need for an extremely comfortable stay and is set by the side of a beautiful tidal loch. The owners are welcoming and friendly. There are numerous things to do in the surrounding area and further afield. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly recommend a stay here.

“Fabulous location, fabulous place to stay - Highly reccomended”
Reviewed 23 June 2018 for a stay in June 2018

We have just returned from our week stay in this fabulous holiday cottage. It is in a quiet location on the very edge of Arrochar with a private entrance and patio area adjacent to a woodland hillside. It is spacious inside with a large living room with a fabulous panoramic view of the lake and mountain ranges. There is a separate kitchen/dining room, and separate utility room which is perfect for sorting out after hiking etc. Basically everything you need including of course a dishwasher... not that we did much cooking. There is a separate downstairs toilet (may be I am getting old, but that's really handy), upstairs full shower and bathroom, and the main bathroom is ensuite. We stayed there as a couple, but there is ample room for more with the 3 bedrooms. The cleanliness and standard of the accommodation is excellent and there is so much to do and so many places to visit it really makes for an excellent holiday. I would recommend ensuring the use of a car to make the most of exploring all that Scotland has to offer if you can, but equally you could use this as a base for walking etc.
We would not hesitate to book this cottage again (and I am very fussy) - it's a gem... look no further. For a nice seafood restaurant we found Samphire in Inveraray...(not the cheapest but excellent). Great castle there too. The Glencoyne whisky tour too is great. Finally the local people are really friendly and helpful. We must have spent half an hour chatting to a local gent atop the nearby Conic Hill, who gave us a potted history of the area. A wonderful holiday.

“excellent retreat.”
Reviewed 1 January 2018 for a stay in December 2017

We spent Christmas in this excellent place, Had 'quality family time' here.
without hesitation would visit here again,
the cottage was very homely, clean & comfortable, extra Christmassy touches done by our hosts were very much appreciated.
We were able to travel to the surrounding areas from this location with ease.
the comfort & feel of this cottage made a very very long drive worthwhile.

“Amazing home with outstanding views”
Reviewed 2 November 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Had our third stay at this property. It is a beautiful house, lovely furnished and is equipped with all you could need. Situated in an ideal peaceful location with gorgeous views of the loch and hills. Great central location for day trips out exploring the area. Or just sit back and just enjoy the views which are outstanding. I would love to see that view every single day. Owners of this property are very helpful and take pride in ensuring everything is right for guests to have an enjoyable stay. We are already thinking about our next stay!!

“Lovely rental in great location for exploring”
Reviewed 25 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We stayed here for a week and it was a really comfortable and roomy house. Well decorated with everything you would need for a long or short stay and a really comfy bed. We found the location perfect for exploring from Glasgow through to the islands and up as far as Morar. The house is located on the edge of the town but is an easy and short walk into the main shops and restaurants and has amazing, uninterrupted views of the loch and the beautiful scenery beyond.
We would definitely stay again and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday there.
