A very warm welcome awaited us at The Oystercatcher. All the staff were helpful, understanding and professional. We were quickly shown to our table and a drinks order was taken. The room was stylish with a mix-match of seats. I do think benches are not really that comfortable for dining out! Our table was far from stable and looking round I could only see tables of the same style. Our cutlery was very dusty but was quickly exchanged. The food was generally excellent with seafood the highlight. One of our party had fish and chips with the fish batter being a bit soggy. Overall a good experience thanks to warm welcome and good sea food.

We had a delicious lunch here. The pub was warm and friendly, the staff were very efficient and the food was excellent. We enjoyed a whole crab and hake with seasonal vegetables at a cosy table by the fire.

We visited the Oyster Catcher at Otter Ferry for lunch for my husband's 50th birthday on the Sunday.

Gorgeous spot on the shores of Loch Fyne and well worth a visit. It's dog friendly and run by Sophie and her husband who were very welcoming as well as the other lovely lady (didn't get her name but her husband is the local shepherd). Frankie their dog is very friendly and playful too. It was busy when we arrived and cosy with the wood burner lit. There is lots of seating outside too for warm sunny days .

Food is delicious. Mainly fish and seafood although my husband had the veggie burger which was amazing. I had the oysters and the moules. Our son had the beer battered fish which he enjoyed. Wine list was great. Really nice touches like a side portion of aioli and elderflower cordial (never been anywhere that has elderflower cordial before. People usually look at me as if I'm mad!! )

Thank you so much for making our meal so lovely. We will be back

Thank Caroline R

We went in on a very quiet wintery Monday evening. We were the only people there, and they were about to shut up early, but stayed open for us.
The room is lovely and we both had an excellent pie, very tender steak and tasted really good. There is a good selection of wine and beer and we'd lovely to come back in the daytime for the view!
Well worth going out of your way to get there.

we hadnt booked but was seated within approx 10 mins which i think is pretty good for a party of 6 with 2 dogs.

The staff were very friendly and we had a good laugh with the lady who served us, it was mainly families and couples in there we did turn up middle of sunday lunchtime.

The food was fantastic fish and chips the fish was excellent. My vegetarian daughter had an amazing veggie burger and a couple of us had chicken sandwiches,
