Just back from two nights at The Royal. Right from the off we were made extremely welcome by Maggie who showed us to our room (8). The first thing that hits you is the view through the picture window....fantastic. The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed with a massive bathroom.
Dinner did not fault and Christine talked us through the menu and gave us a brief history of their ownership of The Royal. The food was excellent and the wine superb. Breakfast is also beautifully presented and cooked.
The Shinty Bar is small but perfectly formed and we ate in here while watching the rugby on the Saturday.
There was nothing to disappoint at The Royal and all the staff were extremely helpful, special mention must go to Ashley for her hospitality and of course to Christine and Keith.
We will return.More
