Stayed overnight with 6 year old twins on route to Barra. Were fortunate with fantastic weather and the views across water from balcony were stunning. Room excellent. Hotel position right on water and with view of mountains and small pier and rocky shore delightful. Small swimming pool and sauna very nice. Clean and pleasant. Breakfast in nice light room again with great view. Buffet well presented. Staff in main friendly and helpful. Slightly disappointing check in as person not hugely welcoming. Check out v good! Great hotel, fabulous setting. Would definitely stay again and recommend visit to others.

The hollytree hotel is nice and the scenery is lovely, the food is very good and served very quickly the downside of the hotel is there is not really any cosy lounge area to sit and have a drink after your meal, no continental breakfast available or afternoon tea and scones for a treat if you preferred at lunch time also the pool is quite small if alot of people are in at the same time as the hotel sits at the side of the road there are no pavements outside the hotel to walk on and explore the surrounding area the staff are very helpful and friendly and we did enjoy our stay .

Last visit to this hotel was in 1995 while working nearby and it has not disappointed. Spectacular views from all rooms and bar/restaurant area. Small pool area and soon to have a jacuzzi over looking toe Loch towards spectacular mountain views

My wife and I had a fantastic weekend at the Holly Tree in a rain-swept February. We stayed in the Captains Room, which is on the second floor and has brilliant views across Loch Linnhe to the Morvern Peninsula. The rooms are very well equipped and comfortable, the food is wonderful (as good as you'd find in any big city) all the staff are wonderful, there's a pool and lots of beautiful countryside within minutes. To top it all, dogs are welcome, so we got to share the hotel and countryside with our two collies. Heaven!
