It's a cute little cafe with homemade cakes and soups. We had broccoli and almond soup. This was a good sized serving and accompanied by a delicious bread roll and a dollop of soured cream so that you could add the latter to taste.

Was here 2 years ago and read the latest reviews so thought we would head back. So glad we did. Amazing service and food. We chose a sandwich each which comes with fries, side salad and homemade dressing. WOW. Even the bread was homemade. Delicious. Everything tasted so fresh. My husband had the hot chocolate to drink and I settled for a tea. He also had the carrot cake which was also delicious. I think it is fair to say that this cafe has improved upon the previous offering albeit they were great too!

We visited on the way to Inverewe Gardens last Friday.
Superb little place with Spanish owners, I believe. The cake and coffee were excellent and beautifully presented. Truly a piece of Spain in Scotland. Wonderful. John and Maureen Blake

Had reserved a table as we were in the area to celebrate our anniversary and had been given the lunch by way of a gift voucher by our daughter. She had arranged the gift voucher with the owners beforehand and had said they couldn't have been more accommodating. They were able to cater for any dietary need and it was no effort for them. Thus was shown today when we went for our lunch. Everything was discussed what certain dishes did and didn't have and both owners couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. The soup Broccoli and almond served with home made bread of choice was hot and delicious. This followed by two delicious homemade cakes and coffee just made the lunch complete. This truly is worth a visit just wish some other Scottish establishments could meet this standard. We will definitely be back and recommend .

We visited the cafe twice in the course of a short visit to Poolewe and area. The cafe us run by very friendly owners from Galicia in Spain.. On the first visit ( a lunchtime) we all ate the tortilla - light and beautifully prepared. On the second visit we popped in for an afternoon coffee and sampled the Santiago almond cake. Delicious! There is a small gallery with some excellent works by local artists - raising money for a local charity. The cafe is open on Sunday's- unusual in north west Scotland. Excellent!
