“Ideal holiday house for our family”
Reviewed 14 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Our family of four (children aged 11 and 13) had a wonderful stay in the cosy cottage on Skye. This was really the perfect place for us. Not far from the bridge. Beautiful scenery just walking outside, and close enough with car to the stunning scenery on the western part of the island.

The cottage has everything you need, and Sarah and DJ are wonderful hosts. We never met, but the communication online, the welcoming card on the table, the fire place that was made ready to light and the informative papers on how everything in the cottage works and with information on activities on the island made us feel so welcome. We also made use of the games and the DVDs. Fantastic that most of the films are linked to Skye.

It was our first visit to Skye. We went to Fairy Glen close to the village of Uig. Even though it was raining and we only had 15-20 minutes out there, it was well worth it. Beautiful and almost like a fairytale world. We climbed almost to the top of Castle Ewan and got wonderful views of the area. Our lunch stop in Portree was also very good. We would definitely recommend Cafe Arriba.

If ever going back, we would for sure look for the possibility to stay once again in the cottage!

We really enjoyed your place, warm atmosphere, convenient with all comfort and à nice garden with magnificent blue hortensias.
We also had good time on Skye, various visits and Celtic music at the Skye festival.
Thank you again, we'll be back later on.

“Nice, clean, and quiet cottage”
Reviewed 8 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

The cottage is a nice little place to stay on the Isle of Skye. It's not very central, but even still it's a relatively short drive to anywhere on the island. The owner is super friendly and helpful.

“Home away from home”
Reviewed 6 June 2017 for a stay in May 2017

We fell in love with this property as soon as we arrived. The cottage was spotless and contained all the amenities we needed. The garden area was a delight. We sat on the bench in the back yard with our coffees and looked over the view of the sheep in the fields and the loch beyond. The local pub is a short walk away and the food there was delicious. This cottage is a perfect location from which to explore the southwestern area of Skye and the nearby sites on the mainland.
