My husband stayed at Back Brae Lodge and would highly recommend it. It was a great location, and a lovely clean and tidy house. Kenny was very accommodating and helpful during booking.
The Isle of Mull is a chocolate box of delights for the traveller who enjoys, walking, culture and a different lifestyle for a holiday. Back Brae Lodge situated in Tobermory provided a very welcome break in luxurious surroundings. I do not own a TV, dish washer, or have the opportunity to be so close to facilities such as a Coop, eating places and forestry walks on a daily basis. Tobermory has similarities to Aberareon in Wales. Kenny who owns the Lodge was very attentive and communicative at all times. Thoroughly recommend the Lodge and all that it has to offer - better than home from home for me. Hope to return in near future.
Excellent property in an ideal location, fully furnished and equipped and supplied with wifi, netflix account and lots of books and DVDs. Ideal for week away and base to explore Mull and beyond. No problems with parking on street. Will definitely look to return in the future.
Excellent property, plenty big enough for the 3 adults that traveled. The house was well equipped, full of useful information on Mull and has a great location just off of the main street. Will definitely book again
Easy to find and parking was no problem on the harbour front. Back Brae Lodge contained everything we needed and full, complete instructions on the use of all equipment. Large lounge and kitchen with every utensil you could possibly need. Many places to eat all within easy walking distance and both Chinese and Indian take away if preferred. We visited Iona via the Fionnport ferry (you need to aware of the driving time / miles ratio when using single track road with passing places) but we were prepared for the journey and really enjoyed the visit to the abbey. Sea food was superb and a visit to the Le Routiers Fish and Chip van on the fishermen's pier is a must.
