Quiet, peaceful, marvelous ocean views. Short walks to a beach with fabulous coastal scenery. We took walks in the neighborhood and enjoyed birds and got to see Red Deer. Very easy drive to Fionnphort for the ferry ride to Iona.

Ardachy House is located in the most beautiful area of the Isle of Mull--spectacular and wild with varied scenery and very few tourists. It is also a very short drive to the ferries at Fionnphort (do go to Staffa when the puffins are there!) The beautiful beach that you can see from the house is about a five minute walk. Proprietor Tony is charming and very helpful with advice and anything you might need. The additional perk is that the meals are world class (and I lived in Paris for 36 years and have relatives who are chefs). From the smoked salmon scrambled eggs at breakfast to the truly amazing evening meals, you won't want to go eat elsewhere. The chef even accommodated my dietary needs with substitutions and a special desert! My room was clean, small without a view (but there is a living room you can use with a view) The bathroom was in the hallway, but still quite private and with a huge soaking tub to luxuriate in after a brisk hike. All around, it was a wonderful experience.

Ardachy House Hotel is a very nice place to stay. Room was lovely and spotlessly clean. Food was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome.
There is a beach nearby which is a short walk from Hotel.

Ardachy House Hotel is a fairly typical mid market scottish hotel, set back from a beautiful, wild, desolate beach. The architecture is not very interesting but what makes it a must stay are the hosts, Tony, David and Alice (and others). Hospitality clearly comes naturally and it is evident from the immaculate presentation of the room and the public areas to how helpful and accommodating they are at every level of need. Yes, this was a good find indeed.

once again for the second year running we had a wonderful stay, very friendly staff, great vegan food available, rooms very clean and comfortable. Only 5 minutes drive from Loch Scridain, will be hoping to stay again next year.
