Going up to Crieff I googled to find a cafe we could have breakfast (near Stirling). Followed sat nav and found it. Understand the name now, yes it is hidden away. We had a dog with us and no problem met at the door and got a table straight away. Breakfast was excellent, service superb and reasonably priced. As we had a fussy 10 year old they just put together what she wanted. So good we went back on the return journey for an afternoon meal. As we had kids with us (fussy at 10 and 14) this was a slightly disappointing with the choice. It was very busy but we just sat on the sofa until a table was ready and we had a lovely meal. Will go back when we are travelling past Stirling again

This little cafe is tucked away down a lane in Bridge of Allan but it's definitely worth searching for. Decorated in pastel shabby chic, there's a nice area with sofa and magazines to relax in while you wait for a free table. Everything is tasty and home-cooked - on this visit I had delicious soup and sandwich combo followed by the obligatory cake and coffee. I can recommend the blackberry, apple & cinnamon cake (top left in the photo), and the citrus & rosemary loaf which my friend had was lovely and moist.

Visited on a busy Sunday morning just before noon. It was busy, but we snagged a table straight away. Great choice, good coffee and friendly service. Tasty wholesome food and the herbs were a welcome addition.

Loved the door marked Narnia near the loos ... a fancy name for the store/cleaner cupboard!

Unusual in this day and age to not take cards, but they do warn you on the menu.

Would definitely recommend and will be back.
