I ended up in Girvan by accident with a fault to my car but was delighted to have come across the Westcliffe which combined a traditional seaside guest house with modern facilities such as good wifi and shower. Also received a fantastically warm welcome from proprietor Jane who all but ensured the garage prioritise my car so i was on my way the next day
Hope i get to return to Girvan to stay here, pretty harbour and views of ailsa craig and wouls definitely stay here
Found the accommodation by chance.
After having told by all other hotels in twon „we are sold out“,
found the Westcliffe by coincidence.
It is a special hotel, out of a different time.
Got room 6 with a beautiful seaview.
The landlady was very welcoming.
Good value for money.

Not bad, stayed in room 20 for work. Dated hotel with functional utilities. Shower works fine. Tea and coffee facilities in room. TV has free view channels. Shampoo and soap provided. Breakfast is minimal for someone who doesn't eat pork.
Jane was lovely. Very hospitable and made us most welcome. The room was spacious with a lovely sea view. The breakfast was tasty and plenty of choice. All in all a very enjoyable stay.our hostess had a vast knowledge of the area and helped us to decide where to visit. Thanks Rhona and ian.
