We stayed one night on way Ireland.
Rooms with walk in shower on first floor.
Had a lovely meal in the bar.
Food was well prepared.
Very good breakfast in morning.
Just a short drive to Cairnryan.
Queens Hotel is a very good place for a drink in comfort.
Unfortunately not open on Wednesday
Best place in Girvan for a drink.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of a two-week touring holiday in Scotland, the Southfield is very welcoming, and we found the bed to be the most comfortable of all the beds we slept in that holiday. The location is very good and the property has more than adequate parking. A generous supply of teas and coffee for the rooms.
The breakfasts were excellent, well organised and laid out and the food was delicious. We had dinner on the second night and were really pleased that we did. Lovely home cooked food, ( the fish pie was delicious) with very friendly service and very reasonably priced, as were the drinks from the bar.
Yes, It has been previously mentioned that the Southfield decor in some areas is a little tired, but it more than makes up for it in customer focus, comfort and cleanliness but above all value for money. All the staff were without exception friendly and very helpful.

This was a nice quiet friendly hotel.

The rooms are well appointed, clean and quiet.

Unfortunately no dinners were available, but breakfast was excellent.

It was close enough to town to walk, if you want.
