Catherine makes the best soup - there are usually about 4 choices. Also sandwiches, baked potatoes and selection of cooked dishes.
Home baking coffee and teas

Delightful disused old Victorian railway station serves an excellent array of delicious food. To sit on the platform in sunny peace and quiet, such a tranquil, leisurely lunch with the sent of wild roses where there used to be steam trains. There are cosy waiting rooms if the weather is not warm enough.

We visited this cafe today, it was spotlessly clean , the food and drink was excellent and very reasonably priced , the service was excellent as well.

Popped in on Sunday, had a nice pot of tea, an Americano, a peppermint slice, all good, then went to cut scone, dropped it back on plate, it had been microwaved to death, it was ten minutes before it was cool enough to touch. Of course butter melted as it was still warm, and I hate warm scones, it also tasted slightly stale. Staff were nice very polite but the scone let it down

The food here is consistently good, especially the soup. There is usually a choice of four soups and we have never been disappointed, whatever we choose. We followed the soup with apple pie and cream/ice cream; again excellent. Service is also quick and very friendly.
