Located five minutes from the little village, the B&B is beautifully situated. It has a patio facing the mountains, small but perfectly equipped bedrooms and a very friendly hostess.
We were asked to give our choices for breakfast the night before and got exactly what we asked for. The coffee passes my wife's rigorous quality test and my scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked..light and fluffy. Got a very restful night's sleep.
The local pub is a few minutes away and the food there is good too.

Room Tip: great views in front

After travelling for 14 hrs this place was exactly what I needed. Such a peaceful place where sleeping was easy. The host was super friendly and gave some great travel advice. And the breakfast was fantastic. Value for money given the prices surrounding was fantastic.

I stayed here for one night as part of my solo hike of the great glen way. It is located close to the centre of Invermoriston, with the falls, a shop and the Glenmoriston Arms (also highly recommended) all within a short walk away.

Hayley, the hostess gave a warm welcome and was very helpful. She does a good job of making sure everything was perfect. The room was spotless and comfortable, with a good view over Invermoriston from the shower room. I was asked for my choice for the cooked breakfast upon my arrival, with plenty to choose from. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice of drink, cereal and fruit.

I highly recommend Darroch View and thank Hayley for the wonderful stay :-)

We stayed in the main house in a twin room with en suite facilities. There are also cottages available to rent, not sure if these are on a room only basis or if breakfast is included. Everything was spotless but our room was quite small with limited storage space, there was just a set of drawers and nowhere to hang clothes so not so good for more than a one night stay. It is ideally situated as a stopover for ramblers. The only place for dinner was a restaurant down the road that seemed a little pricey for what was served. Breakfasts are comprehensive and cooked to order and our host was very talkative and friendly. We arrived from the south and our sat-nav took us into a cul de sac a hundred metres short of the entrance driveway which had us searching for the entrance for a while. We were on motorcycles and the deeply gravelled drive and car park was a nightmare, Ok for cars but motorcycles definitely not recommended, I would not do it again. Apart from that it was a very pleasant place to stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Room Tip: No good for parking motorcycles

We stayed here for 3 nights and would not stay again. Firstly the host was very abrupt and unwelcoming. After traveling 400 miles we arrived with no milk baring in mind we were in the sticks. Didn't like the fact that we rented it privately for our own use but the host was coming in with no request to make beds, this was an invasion of privacy as she waited purposely until we went out and did not warn us that she would be doing this. Whilst heating was provided the host was coming in again when we were out and turning it off, the whole place is like an ice cube!! We feels the place is lovely but the host and lack of trust in customers is not acceptable. Also didn't appreciate the host walking across our meant to be private garden to hang her washing on the line, there was a separate path for her to use. She strictly told us not to disturb her between 7 am And 7pm, we respected that but it was given back in some ways. We paid £450 to stay here have some trust in people who put money into your business. Apart from that you are woken up to lovely views!!
Thank you

THIS REVIEW IS INCORRECT AS IT IS NOT FOR THIS PROPERTY, this person has NEVER stayed in Darroch View bed and breakfast, the review is quite clearly NOT for this accommodation.
