We stayed here for 3 nights and would not stay again. Firstly the host was very abrupt and unwelcoming. After traveling 400 miles we arrived with no milk baring in mind we were in the sticks. Didn't like the fact that we rented it privately for our own use but the host was coming in with no request to make beds, this was an invasion of privacy as she waited purposely until we went out and did not warn us that she would be doing this. Whilst heating was provided the host was coming in again when we were out and turning it off, the whole place is like an ice cube!! We feels the place is lovely but the host and lack of trust in customers is not acceptable. Also didn't appreciate the host walking across our meant to be private garden to hang her washing on the line, there was a separate path for her to use. She strictly told us not to disturb her between 7 am And 7pm, we respected that but it was given back in some ways. We paid £450 to stay here have some trust in people who put money into your business. Apart from that you are woken up to lovely views!!
Thank you

THIS REVIEW IS INCORRECT AS IT IS NOT FOR THIS PROPERTY, this person has NEVER stayed in Darroch View bed and breakfast, the review is quite clearly NOT for this accommodation.

Our first B&B on our week's tour of the highlands and islands. We were made so welcome and the accommodation was spotless and adequate for our needs. A lovely cooked breakfast was provided. Really good value for money.

Very handily placed for the centre of Invermoriston (not that it is a very big place) There are reviews that say the twin room is a bit small so you might like to ask about that. We stayed in the double room which was spotlessly clean, well furnished and comfortable.

Breakfast was pretty good and Hayley (the owner) is a pleasant and chatty lady. Hayley will book you a table in advance at the Glenmoriston Arms in the village. This is not a bad idea as there are few if any other places to eat in the evening.

The only things I can think of that might be improvements are, firstly that payment was asked for as soon as we arrived. This is unusual but, hey ho, it is no big deal. The other thing is that it was made quite clear that, except by arrangement, check in must be before 7pm. This was reinforced by an email just before the date of our stay. This caused us no trouble at all but I wonder what happens if a guest is inadvertently delayed until 8pm

Nonetheless this is a good place to stay and we would not hesitate to stay here again if we need a room in Invermoriston.

We were walking the Great Glen and chose this B&B for our stay and were very pleased both with the room and with our host Hayley who could not have been more friendly and welcoming. There are great views from the deck out front , the breakfast and packed lunch were great and we would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

We stayed here whilst walking the Great Glen Way. Great location in Invermoriston near to Glen Moriston Hotel and small local shop. An unusual entrance if walking -because you walk up the grass verge of the A82 and then up a few steps and steepish gravel path (easier by car/bike -plenty of parking). The house is warm and modern and Hayley is an excellent host. Our double room/bathroom was spacious, warm and clean. Also had Sky TV. Although it is on the A82 it is set back under the trees and isn't too noisy. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. As other contributors point out - what makes this B&B is Hayley. Very friendly and welcoming. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
