This was our second stay at this cottage and yet again we had a wonderful stay.
The cottage itself is in an excellent location (within the village itself there are a couple of pubs, a brilliant supermarket, restaurants and a petrol station) but it is the location that is breathtaking!
Lie in bed with a cup of tea and watch the boats pass up through the Caladonian canal, or from the kitchen window watch the sun glisten on Loch Ness whilst you're cooking your breakfast!
The cottage has all amenities including a log burner (so cozy we lit it even when we didn't need to!) and is dog friendly.
There are all the wonderful things to do in the immediate area, walks, castles, waterfalls etc, but take a short stroll down to the Loch edge just as dusk is descending and listen to the water lapping whilst you try to spot Nessie. The magic is still there.
The hosts Brian and Elaine are friendly and welcoming.
Tips: bring walking boots and dog towels, then relax!
