When we arrived at Frances and Colin's home after a day of cycling, they immediately served us tea and had a visit with us. We loved our time there! The room was well-appointed with a renovated bathroom and the breakfast was the highlight of our stay. We didn't want to leave!

Frances and Colin could not have been better hosts - including Colin giving us a lift to the restaurant as we were running late.

The house, guest facilities and bedrooms were excellent, but two things stood out - the warmth of the welcome we got from our helpful hosts, and Colin's Bircher muesli which was the best part of an outstanding breakfast.

There's only one indifferent review of this place which can be safely ignored. Colin and Frances are the most wonderful hosts. We were greeted warmly and given tea and cake on the lawn outside before being shown to a beautiful room with a large double bed and a great shower. The breakfast was entirely at our discretion and we could have had anything we liked and it was beautifully cooked and served. We stayed two nights and it didn't hurt that there is a pub literally at the bottom of the garden. If , like us, you are doing the Great Glen Way and are not using a baggage service with a minibus and you don't want to walk all of the final 20 miles to Inverness, Frances will give you Caroline's number, a local taxi service, who will drop you off at one of several halfway points and then take you back next day . We could not have been better treated and if you are in the area and staying somewhere else, you're making a mistake !

Room Tip: The Campbell Room has a lovely bed and shower

This is a must place to stay. Go out of your way to find a reason to visit, I will if
I travel that area again. The place is beautiful with everything a traveller could want and Frances and Colin are so welcoming, with a genuine warmth and friendliness. The breakfast was superb (you must try Colin's muesli, it's to die for!). Whilst walking in Scotland I stayed at 11 different places in 11 nights. This was not only the best but is simply just special. Thank you both for making a weary walker feel very welcome. What a treat!

This is by far the best b&b I have ever stayed in. The rooms are extremely clean, bathrooms are modern with comfy beds. In the morning there is a good choice of cereal with nuts and fruit followed by a perfectly cooked breakfast (eggs of your choice, bacon, sausages, tomatoes and beans ) served with toast and cafetière coffee.

Frances and Colin are incredibly welcoming. They greeted us with tea and biscuits and gave information on nearby activities and places to eat.

They took the time to get to know all of us and spent time with our toddlers. Needless to say they both adored Frances and Colin. This made our experience even more special as we were really made to feel at home.

It's very rare to arrive somewhere for one night as guests and leave as friends.
